It's a low-abrasive metal polish...it will removal all traces of the indium-based solder from the dice as well as any residue on the substrate itself.
Minimal pressure is needed when polishing....

Of course! The water coming from the CPU will not be anywhere near the actual CPU die temp. Let's say ambient is 22C, and the water is on average 5C higher (27C)...depending on the actual CPU heat...
